Notice of Election

Pursuant to the official Code of Georgia, annotated, the Town of Pine Mountain hereby publishes notice that a General Municipal Election will be held on November 2, 2021 for the purpose of electing two (2) Council seats and the Mayor. The first day to qualify for this election is Monday, August 16, 2021 and the last day is Thursday August 19, 2021. Qualifying will take place at the Town Hall, 250 N. McDougald Avenue, during the hours of: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. and on Wednesday 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. The qualifying fee for each Councilor seat is $10.80 and Mayor seat is $54.00. Candidates must be a registered voter and a resident of Pine Mountain. Last day for Pine Mountain residents to register to vote in this election will be October 4, 2021. Advanced voting starts on Monday, October 12, 2021 and ends on Friday, October 29, 2021. Hours for advanced voting is Monday – Friday 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. Early voting will be held on Saturday, October 16 and October 23, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. at Town Hall located at 250 N. McDougald Avenue Pine Mountain, Georgia.
